Flick AI
Last updated 12 September 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Kasparas Sasnauskas, an individual developer based in Lithuania ("we", "us"), who operates the Flick AI iOS app. By using Flick AI you agree to them. If you do not, do not use the app.
You must be 16 or over. The app asks your age before setting up an account and will not create one for anyone younger. You must also be able to enter a binding contract where you live.
Flick AI reads study material you provide, generates questions from it, and shows those questions when you open apps you have chosen to interrupt. It is a study aid. It is not a tutor, not an exam service, and not a wellbeing or screen addiction treatment.
Flick AI is subscription-only — there is no free tier. A subscription gives you access to the whole app, within these limits:
How many questions a deck contains depends on how much material you upload — generally between 40 and 800, and at most three questions per distinct fact we find. We may change these limits to keep the service running; if a change makes the service materially worse for you, you can cancel.
Questions, answers and explanations are generated by a language model and can be wrong. Flick AI is a study aid, not an authority. Check anything that matters against your own source.
Being specific about what we do check, because the distinction matters: when a question is written from one of our cards, we verify that the wording of its correct answer appears on that card, and regenerate it when it does not. That is a check on grounding, not on truth. We do not verify that any question, answer or explanation is factually correct, and questions generated from material you uploaded earlier are not put through even that check. Explanations from Ask AI are not checked at all.
We do not promise any exam result, grade, or learning outcome.
You keep ownership of everything you upload. You grant us only the permission needed to run the service: to store your files and to process them, including sending them to our AI provider, in order to generate your questions. We do not use your material to train models. See the Privacy Policy for exactly what is sent and to whom.
You are responsible for having the right to upload what you upload. Do not upload material you do not have permission to use, or anything unlawful.
Scroll Mode uses Apple's Screen Time frameworks to show a blocking screen over apps you select. You are always in control of it: turning Scroll Mode off clears the block immediately, and you can disable Flick AI's Screen Time access at any time in iOS Settings → Screen Time.
It is not a safety tool. Do not rely on it to prevent access to anything, and do not use it as a parental control or as a substitute for treatment of compulsive use. It can be turned off by anyone holding the phone.
Subscriptions are sold through the App Store. Payment is taken by Apple, and your purchase is also governed by Apple's Standard End User License Agreement, which prevails over these terms for anything to do with the transaction.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Manage or cancel yours in Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions on your iPhone. Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us — request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. If you are an EU consumer, your statutory withdrawal rights apply and are not affected by this.
Do not attempt to break, overload, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to the service; do not use it to process unlawful material; and do not resell or redistribute what it generates as a product of your own. We may suspend accounts that do.
You can delete your account at any time from within the app, which permanently removes your data as described in the Privacy Policy. Deleting your account does not cancel your App Store subscription — cancel that separately in iOS Settings.
We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms. If we close your account other than for a breach, you may ask Apple for a refund of the unused part of your subscription.
The service is provided as-is and as-available. We do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted, timely or error-free, and it depends on third parties — Apple, Supabase, OpenAI — whose outages will affect it. We may change or discontinue features. If we discontinue the service entirely, we will give reasonable notice so you can cancel and, where you have paid for a period you cannot use, ask Apple for a refund.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any right you have under mandatory consumer law, and nothing limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. You keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country you live in. Subject to that, we are not liable for loss that was not reasonably foreseeable when you started using the app — including exam results, lost study time, or loss of data you have not backed up elsewhere.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or 50 EUR. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill.
Disputes, and a waiver of class actions. Any dispute will be resolved by binding individual arbitration rather than in court, and you and we each waive any right to a jury trial and to participate in a class or representative action. This paragraph does not apply to consumers in the EU, the EEA or the UK, and does not prevent either of us bringing an individual claim in a small-claims court.
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Lithuania, and the courts of Lithuania have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence, and you may bring proceedings there.
We may update these terms. The date above will change, and anything material will be announced in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Flick AI after that means you accept the change; if you do not, cancel and stop using it.
